We are a group of multidisciplinary professionals, researchers, professors, and scholars with a passion for applied sciences, technology, development of innovative solutions and entrepreneurship. This concept of a R&D institute outside the Academia was idealized during the earlies 2000’s by a entrepreneur in the area of Green Building and a researcher in the area of Energy Economics. Faced with challenges that (theoretically) could be easily solved with the development of solutions by the Academia, it bothered them to face a brick wall.

The Academia knew how to research but could not develop solutions with efficiency. Professors and Students were not aware of the real world challenges. The Academic structure was not design to provide the expected solutions within the required timeframe and budget.

What bothered our founders in the past began to affect their plans. Collaboration between small companies and universities was difficult. Looking for young professionals was also hard, since they were not prepared for the real world challenges.

They were then moved to create a group aimed at developing technological solutions and help create innovative businesses.
